Yes! Dahl Entertainment LLC is entirely insured for $2,000,000 in General Liability charges. This means you, your guests, and your venue are completely insured from the DJ perspective. We do recommend ensuring your venue has its own insurance to ensure their end is free of liability as well.
We are not liable, however, for Mosh pits & crowd surfing or Liquor related incidents.
Typically we come to set up 60-90 minutes before the start of the event. This allows us to test all of our equipment and ensure everything is in line well in advance. Often we even begin mixing 15 minutes before the event so your guests have a great atmosphere to walk in on!
Some events with extensive upgrades require additional setup time which can require 3 or more hours of setup. Remember, you are only charged for the hours we are performing, not setup, tear down, or driving hours.

Yes, to reserve the time and date of the event we ask for a small nonrefundable deposit. This deposit generally is 25% of the final payment. This would leave 75% to be paid on the day of the event.
If an event continues beyond the contracted hours, Dahl Entertainment reserves the right to leave the event when the contracted performance time is completed. If overtime services are required, a 1.5x overtime fee per hour will be assessed.
For example if the original price of the event was booked for $150 an hour until 4 P.M. starting at 4:01. P.M the overtime rate of $225 will go into effect.
Yes! Typically for most events, the more hours you book the bigger of a discount we give. This varies depending on the event details but it is not uncommon for our rates to go as low as $100/hour when booked for 4+ hours.
Yes! We have general pricing for certain types of events but they are not set in stone. If you have a budget you need to stick to, we can work with that! Our goal is to make your event amazing and if that means making a compromise to a price that works for both parties, let's do it!
In the event of a cancellation by the client, the initial deposit used to secure the event date will be refunded in the form of credit for a future date. The rescheduled event should be booked with 30 days of the initial cancelation.
If the contracted performer is unable to attend the event due to sickness or unforeseen events, Dahl Entertainment will provide a substitute of equal experience. This will be at no extra charge or hassle to you.
If any Disc Jockey equipment should malfunction during the performance, Dahl Entertainment will refund a prorated amount equal to the amount of time where services could not be rendered.
The performer shall be relieved of liability when unable to perform as a result of
accident, riots, earthquake, acts of nature, or any other condition beyond the control of the performer.
